Permanent call for course and workshop proposals

Dear colleagues,

We wish to inform you that we are currently developing the list of cultural courses and workshops for the following university year.

Should you be interested in proposing certain courses or workshops, you are welcome to do so starting now, using the request form created to this purpose by the present official announcement.

The following aspects should also be considered:

1. The course proposal will be approved by a commission formed by the Vice President for Extracurricular Activities, the Administrative Supervisor of the Extracurricular Activities Secretariat and the director of the Secretariat for Culture.
Given the fact that the courses are addressed to members of the academia, introductory lectures are to be included in the majority of cases. However, there cannot be an overlap with subjects taught at other levels

Courses can be held in either Spanish or Catalan
Courses can approach culture from any given perspective
Proposals can be made for courses taught in either of the semesters
the proposals have been studied, the validating commission will, should the case be, require additional information on the means used to deliver the course
Professors will be remunerated according to the regulations of the UA Board for Social Activities
Courses will be held provided a minimum number of students enrol
